Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

Booking Value:

The value of the Hospitality Package being purchased by the Customer which is exclusive of VAT.

Cancellation Date:

The date on which the Club receives written confirmation from the Customer to cancel the booking.

Club:

Glamorgan County Cricket Club Limited.

Conditions:

The standard terms and conditions as set out in this document.

Contract:

Legally binding contract between the Club and the Customer, subject to clause 2.2 below.

Customer:

The purchaser of the Hospitality Package.

Events:

IT20 England vs Australia- Friday 13th September 2024

Hospitality Package:

Comprises of a ticket to the Event, together with catering at the Event within Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.

Balance:

The amount equivalent to the Booking Value less the Deposit paid by the Customer.

Deposit:

The amount required from the customer to confirm the booking.

Venue:

Glamorgan County Cricket Club, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, CF11 9XR.

2. Conditions of sale

i) All bookings are subject to availability.

ii) Once the Club has received a signed booking form from the Customer (whether by post or email), this will be deemed to constitute a Contract between the Club and the Customer and will be subject to the Conditions detailed in clauses 3 to 9 below.

iii) The Club’s employees and/or agents are not authorised to make any representations concerning the Hospitality Package unless confirmed by the Club in writing. In entering the Contract, the Customer acknowledges that it does not rely on any such representations which are not confirmed in writing.

3. Payment terms and conditions

i) The Customer shall pay the 50% deposit due within 14 working days of receipt by the Customer of the Club’s invoice. The Club reserves the right to automatically cancel the Customer’s booking, without notice, if the Customer fails to pay the balance due within 14 working days.

ii) All payments are non-refundable. They are also non-transferable and cannot be apportioned by the Customer to reduce the Balance payment in the event of any variation to the original booking.

iii) Additional charges will apply for any goods or services provided by the Club to the Customer which are not included in the Hospitality Package. These charges must be paid for in full by a credit card.

iv) If payment is not received by the due date the Club will be entitled to cancel the Contract and suspend provision of the Hospitality Package.

v) All payments made by credit card must be with a Visa or MasterCard- AMEX not accepted

vi) All bookings are subject to a 50% deposit payable within 14 days of booking with the remaining balance payable by 19th July 2024

4. Cancellations

i) All cancellations (whether made by the Club or Customer) must be made in writing/ by email.

ii) When cancellation is made by the customer, all payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable.

5. Delivery of Tickets

i) The date quoted for electronic delivery of the Tickets is approximate and the Club shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the Tickets however caused.

ii) Tickets will not be issued to the Customer until the Club has received payment for the Booking Value.

iii) Please note that the Club operates a no duplicate ticket policy.

iv) All Tickets are non-transferable, and the Customer shall not be entitled to re-sell or use the Tickets as prizes in competitions, raffles, sweepstakes, and auctions.

6. Refunds

i) Please note that play is not guaranteed, and no monies will be refunded should the match finish prior to or during the scheduled hospitality. Hospitality will proceed regardless of whether there is any play.

ii) In the event of adverse weather, clients may be eligible to claim a refund for the ticket element only of the hospitality package. Details of the refund scheme are available from the club on request for the match ticket value.

iii) Please note specific terms and conditions apply in relation to Covid-19 regulations that may be enforced by the ECB or Welsh Government at the time of this fixture. Please refer to section 11 for these specific terms and conditions.

7. Other

i) Any complaints concerning the Hospitality Package must be notified to the Club on the day of the Event.

ii) The Customer is responsible for its guests and for ensuring that they comply with the rules, regulations and directions set by the Club.

iii) The dress code is smart casual- no fancy dress permitted, and the Club reserves the right to refuse admission to any person wearing inappropriate clothing and/ or items of footwear.

iv) Some of the menu items contain nuts, seeds, and other allergens. Therefore, there may be some risk that traces of these could be in any dish served here. Please let the Club know if any of your hospitality party has any food allergies as far in advance of the event as possible. The club will not be held responsible for any illness or injury to any client or their guests.

8. Liability

i) All clients and guests should always keep valuables with them, and the Club will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury to any client and their guests or their property, unless this arises from the negligence of the Club.

9. Variations to advertised packages.

i) Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that the Hospitality Package is in accordance with the details set out in the Hospitality Brochure, the Club reserves the right to make any changes to the Hospitality Package which do not in the opinion of the Seller, materially affect the quality of the Hospitality Package.

ii) In the event that it is necessary for the Club to make material changes to the Hospitality Package, the Club will use reasonable endeavours to offer the Customer the option of an alternative Hospitality Package of comparable standard, or, where such alternative Hospitality Package is not available or is unacceptable to the Customer, the Club will repay to the Customer the amount paid by the Customer.

10. GDPR

i) In your dealings with us you may provide us with information that may include data that is known as personal data. Where we process personal data, we comply with statuary data processing requirements as set out by the Data Protection Act 2018. The personal data we will collect may include information relating to your name, address, and date of birth.

ii) The Data Protection Act 2018 provides you with Access Rights that allow you to gain an understanding on the data being processed, who we share it with for what purpose, why we need to retain it and retention periods to object to the processing and to place restrictions on the processing, to request copies of your data and to request the deletion of your data. 11. COVID-19 TERMS & CONDITIONS

i) With regards to all International and Hundred fixtures at Sophia Gardens in 2024, please note that the tickets included in your package are purchased based on known teams, formats, venue, and a provisional date. The date of the match may change. If that occurs, the new date will be communicated to you with available options within your package communicated to you at the same time. Email or telephone will be used to contact you for this purpose. If your contact details change then you must inform us at [email protected]as soon as possible. In addition, please be sure to read the standard ticketing T&Cs as detailed in the ECB’s Major Match Day Refund Scheme which are also in place to protect the ticket purchase within your membership, should there be any cancellation/abandonment of matches or a requirement to restrict entry.

ii) We reserve the right to cancel your hospitality package due to events beyond our reasonable control and/or should we believe it is reasonable to do so on health and safety grounds. We will endeavour to act as fairly as possible but shall have absolute discretion as to which tickets to cancel in a situation where reduced capacity at the venue results in a requirement to cancel a proportion of tickets.

iii) We reserve the right to add health and safety related conditions which attendees must comply with (including but not limited to the provision of details of all attendees for Test and Trace purposes). Any attendees refusing to comply with such conditions may have their ticket(s) cancelled, be refused entry, or removed from the venue.

iv) We will endeavour to deliver all listed package entitlements where possible. However, we reserve the right to amend any listed item to ensure the venue and club remains compliant with ECB and/or Welsh Government Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions that may be in place at the time of any given matchday. Glamorgan County Cricket Club may, in its absolute discretion, vary/ amend any space, facilities, and/ or the maximum allowed attendee numbers or any other term specified in your hospitality package contract to reflect changes in or to comply with any applicable Covid-19 guidance/ regulations set by the ECB and or Welsh Government.

v) We shall not be liable to you for failure to perform any of our obligations to the extent that the failure is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control. Personal arrangements and expenditure, including travel, accommodation and other costs and expenses incurred by you relating to a match which have been arranged by you are at your own risk, and we shall not be responsible or liable to you for any wasted or unrecoverable costs or expenditure in relation to such personal arrangements, even if caused as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or alteration of a match for which you have purchased tickets.

vi) In the event that this fixture is played behind closed doors and therefore we are unable to forfil your hospitality booking at Sophia Gardens then you will be contacted by the events team and a entitled to a full refund.
